those cars kinda suck though, the controls are binary... I can't steer just using lock to lock and nothing else... Check out the yokomo puchi maru cars.. they're still tiny (1/60th) but have proportional controls:

puchi maru

they don't seem to have any pimp aftermarket parts yet, but knowing yokomo they are on their way.... probably just waiting to sell enough of them to recoup some of the development costs (my guess anyways).

kyosho also has some slightly larger mini-z cars, I picked up an FC3S GTX body for one, it's very pimpy.

there are some movies of them on the web site demonstrating the control capabilities, theres no way you would be able to maneuver any of those zip-zaps or bitchar-g cars the way they maneuver the puchi maru in the movies on the site. Realize the controller for those other cars literally has buttons for left/right/forward/reverse, not pressure sensitive either. Just a button, on/off, binary. dig?

I have the mini -z skyline they are cool, i added headlights and tail lights to mine with led's from radio shack. The only thing I don't like amout the mini-z's is the full size r/c controller

The Zip Zap's aren't bad. $20 + the Nitrous kit and it's pretty fun.

They are not proportional but it's no different from the old Atari digital games.

but you need to modiffy the body to get it to fit on the F&F chassis

also he has figured out a way to get 2 and 3 batterys in them

his is to the point that when he hits forward it will just sit thier and spin the tires
