Wife Might Read This, But Oh Well

My wife has this ex-boyfriend that moved away with his family. He and his twin brother want to come back to town to visit some friends and such, and my wife invited them to stay with us. yay.
I told her that since I'm her husband, I can't be ok with it. I'm mostly uncomfortable because it's two people coming to stay with us that I don't really know. I'm not worried about faithfulness. What would you guys do?

she asked they guys if they would feel weird in any way, of course they said no
she figured I would be uncomfortable, so I got it out of my system, and I think it'll be ok
I was thinking of making them envy me...drool over the fast car, motorcycle, the wife that dumped him, the house being given to us...that would be make me feel good. (but do it in a civilized, southern hospitality way)

It would seem to me it should have just been an assumed thing... ie she shouldn't have invited them in the first place. I would never invite one of my ex's over for even an hour... just the thought of what might go down would frighten the hell out of me LOL
It isn't a matter of trust or lack there of. A man shouldn't feel uncomfortable in his own home, end of story.

I agree with her, though, when she said that it's better to not have hard feelings toward someone you used to be with. My parents are divorced, and can hardly be in the same room, so I know what she means.
(and really, it's not our house...yet...we still live with her parents, but hopefully that will change within the month...but that's another story)

I can't agree with it at all. But, mine probably stems from watching my best friend spiral downward after doing the exact same thing.
Ex-boyfriend comes to visit, stays at the house, he goes to work like normal.
About a month later he is making the bed and while tucking in the sheet something brushes his hands on his wife's side of the bed. Then he lifts the mattress to find a bunch of polaroids of her and the ex-boyfriend doing it on the bed.
That was some $h7t, and she was a freak. She tried to blame it on him.
Poor bastard.

wow, that blows
I know they're not gonna be staying very long. Evidently, their mother (who they still live with) keeps a tight leash on them. My wife actually feels sorry for them; they've been shut out from a lot of things.
In that respect, I'm not concerned with their behavior, they would be extremely stupid to try anything dumb like that.
Hopefully, I'll get to know them a little while they're here, and we'll enjoy having visitors. But next time, we'll discuss before inviting (I hope).
