who watches dirty jobs?

I don't know what it is about this show, I can't get enough of it. Mike Rowe seems like the coolest guy ever. He seems very blue collar, genuine. Every job he does, he almost always says something like "this is BY FAR the most disgusting thing I've ever done!" and you can tell he really means it, funny guy. He also really puts himself out there, taking risks that most TV hosts wouldn't dare (climbing out on a shrimp boat boom, standing in a charcoal hopper, crawling through tight and precarious places under large slabs of marble or old houses, etc).
Plus it satisfies my curiosity about Los Angeles storm drains and ostrich farming and such, great stuff.

I had that episode on tivo and looked for it, but I guess it was at the last second, the tivo usually stops recording during the end credits of that show, so I miss some outtakes.
There is a setting on yer TIVO to allow start/stop of recording for other periods of time; to allow you to catch credits/outtakes

Another Dirty Job,
We had a water snake take refuge in the free flood area of the missile deck on the submarine when we were in Kings Bay Georgia. We discovered it after sea trails (we had down a QA Dive to Test Depth for testing), needless to say snake was dead, decaying and about 5 times its normal size due to the pressure chages and decay. SMELLY Rotting flesh.
When the USS Bonefish had her fire at sea where 3 crewman die. The medical people had to remove the bodies from inside the sub ~ 5 days after the fire (took that long to tow it back to Charleston from out at sea). Submarine hatches are ~ 26" in diameter. When a person is trapped in a fire, mother nature takes over and the person will curl up in a protective posture, which is not conducive to exit via a submarine hatch... I'll leave the rest to your imagination concerning the rigor-mortis.
