Who Else Went To The Nyc Auto Show?
#1
I just went on saturday for a while. And should have pics soon as my friend uploads them all, I will post them here (New post probably).
But anyways, after all was said and done, I liked Mazda's show the best. For one main reason: Mazdaspeed Miata. I know you guys know of it, but it just sound like such an exciting vehicle, specially seeing it in person. I had to wait to sit in it, but its a nice car. Same with the Rx8, much nicer in person than in vids/pics.
They showcased a Hydrogen Rotary..not sure what's to come of it, and supposedly a Hydrogren Rx8 (White with stickers on it..).
The Saleen was the only exotic that excited me, the rest just weren't as cool.
Anyone else go?

First of all, I am talking purely about the exterior look of the exotics.
I find most to be overrated, simply gaudy and "trying to hard" to have the look.
Secondly, mostly all exotics have really ugly interior, but alas...it's in the DRIVE that counts. Notably, given the funds, I would definitely have an abundance of exotics, simply cause I love to drive and love performance. So as I'm taking a hairpin turn at 90, i doubt i'll care the shape of my gauge cluster....
Basically: I just don't like the new look of ferrari's or lambo's much at all (or cars in general for that matter).
Worth going? Moreso than the last two years.
Turbovr6: The jeep thing I have shots from (I'll post when my friend with the digi cam gives em to me monday night). It's a cool idea, but yea, *YOU* don't get to drive it...rather..you get driven in it. The course was pretty neat, a huge hill, some really rocky terrain, and all on mud/dirt.

LOL man I must be typing stupid (In a rush to go out these past few posts sorry).
No, all exotics were behind ropes. Which is why, of all the exotics I saw (ferraris, lambo (well murceilago..BAH! UGH!) and the saleen...I liked the Saleen the most.
As far as interior (since a shot was posted)...they all pretty much are funky...McLaren I feel being the best (Middle seat! Woot!)
The rest are all there. Same place as last year too..odd.
