so I went to Wally World, and bought a new ~$150 rod and reel for grouper fishing. First half of the day was all screwed up on the flats (GPS trouble, few baitfish). Then we made it to deeper water, where I caught 2 red grouper, too small though . Dad caught a gag grouper, but it was too small as well. We were optimistic that this was a good spot, but a huge storm cloud chased to shore.



sounds like a busted trip, but it was fun hanging out with the pops, and taking my first ride in his new boat, and breaking in the new gear.



next trip, spearfishing!!
