I'm noticing that we obviously aren't getting a lot of traffic through this forum, what all is being done to help that? Also, we should think of a way to promote the OTHER sections of this forum, because it seems that the only place to post info and get a response is in the general discussion area...any ideas anybody?? Perhaps we can try to get linked on some of the larger rx7 club websites.....

 

Good point. That's why phinsup just reformatted the entrance page and took off the frames: to make it a little more search engine friendly. {search engines like google don't like frames}

I am working on some new meta tags to get us ranked better in the search engines. That's a slow process as most of the engines will take a month or more to pick up the new search terms. We'll be done with the meta tags this weekend and will have them in place.

Phinsup has also started an advertising campaign on findwhat and has been emailing out link swaps which will also help in the search engine placement.

Lastly, what you said is the most important - Getting links on other sites which is happening, but slowly.

I am also going to be giving some free web space to the members here, which might help.

Most important is to have things that the members find useful - please give input......

And please link to us any time you can!
