I'm going to be using two cylinder coils for my leading plugs, but I just read that they are designed to be used with the amplifyer box, if used without I have to get some crappy resisters for 8 bucks a piece.

I was thinking, you can get a msd box for halfway reasonable, so I just thought about getting one amplifyer box (6a) to amplify both coils, since they have the same trigger.

I think I've heard of using one box to share the stock leading coils, so I know it's possible, just looking for some input?

Would it be a bad Idea to get a 6al since the limiter would only control the leading plugs??

I know some of the mixture would still get burnt thanks to the trailing, so it wouldn't smoke quite as bad, but that wouldn't cause any type of detonation would it?
