Did a little work on the seven today, I got a stubby ratchet from Sears, made changing the spark plugs into a 2 minute job and no scraping of the knuckles or anything, I dont know why I havent gotten one before! Also treated myself to some Mechanix brand gloves, I used to wear latex gloves, but all they do is keep the dirt/grease off your hands offering no protection from scrapes, and no protection in the cooler weather. I used to think these gloves were kind of lame, but Ill never work on any of my cars again without them! Board seems kind of slow lately, thought I would share this

I got some nitrile gloves today, and they're alot better than latex because they don't tear as easily.

I use a double ended socket/tool out of an old Yamaha dirt bike to change my spark plugs in the Mazda. It works great, none of my regular sockets even came close to fitting.

Handy dandy 3/8 spark plug socket, that I always had, for 7 years now I been bitching when I change these plugs, on this car, and my other 7, they LOOK so easy to get to! Not that it was hard to do before with a normal ratchet handle, but with this stubby, its a breeeeeeeeeeeze. I also hate the smell of rubber gloves, guess Im not much of a rubber fetish.

You can still make alot of power with both PS and A/C. I removed them from my car because they were in the way, and I didn't want to be bothered with making everything fit to keep them.
