seeing as my g/f and i just purchased a home (closing in january) maybe i can assist...

first off...do all that's in your power to not buy a home listed by foxtons...they are not easy to work with...second, if you are thinking about buying...do it now...home prices are only going to go up and i see no end in sight...plus rates are pretty low, we got 6% on a 30 year fixed...

any other questions feel free to ask...

If interest rates stay where they are then there should be a significant rise in housing prices over the next ten years. They have predicted 75% for some areas, but that may be too high. Even so, if you buy now you'd probably save a lot of money in the long run. If you take inflation into account then the interest that you would pay on the mortgage isn't too high at the current interest rates.

You guys are gona **** yourselves. Our house is 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 car garage with a room over the garage, catherdral ceilings, fireplace, surround sound, security system, privacy fence, new carpet, new paint in and out recently......super nice lets put it that way! Cost us 85k after they dropped the price from 90k, and they are paying 2k of the closing cost.
