Some states dont have the tags on the far lower left and right. Some of them have the tags centered on the lower portion of the plate, so the "replacement of displacement" logo mostly covers where the tags go, even the states that have the tags in the lower corners, it partially blocks the full view of the tags. If the plate blanks were a 1/2" to 3/4" taller, leaving the top two holes for attachment as is, it would fix this problem for all states I believe.

I think tags changed a while back but the tag frames did not.



The year and month used to be on top. That is probably why the tag frame is cut out on top left and right.

The image is hard to make out at that size but its about a 50/50 split from tags on top and tags on bottom at the extreme corners, and some of the plates in the picture are older of course. : )

Can you mirror the top of the shape to the bottom as well? I know this leaves less room for the text at the bottom. Maybe something like this?
