Caracals - a 20 to 45 pound African cat that resembles the North American cougar in coloration. They are reddish, brown or tawny on the back and legs, but creamy white on the belly, chin and throat. They have the same black mustache and black ears, as a cougar, but the caracal has tall pointed ears with very long black hairy tips extending from the top of the ears that can be from an inch to several inches long.



My friend has one,it lives in his house.He had it de-clawed so it wont scratch everything up.It's about the size of a big dog so its not too big.I went over to look at his last night and it was amazing,I could only get close enough to pet or touch his paw cause I kept getting scared shitless everytime it would kiss or growl.My friend also has a weimereinher (SP?) and they chase each other around the house but the kat kicks the dogs ***.Anyways,just thought I would share this with you.I'm gonna go over this week and get a pic of the kat sitting in my car and I'll be sure to post.
