:bigok: Maybe it is just a publicity stunt. Cars that run on water. :bigok:

Imagine the possibilities. :bigthumg: But then again who knows. BMW's never last too long anyway.

I work as a merchant mariner and if you've ever seen one of those car ship you can understand why it sank. They are very top heavy and look like a brick with a bow on it.

I have a friend that shipped out on one once and they hit a storm on the way back from Japan. He said that he was sure they were going to capsize. They are also foriegn flag vessels, which means that mostly they are floating junk, run by low paid people that a lot of time don't know very much about what they are doing and don't speak the international languge.(english)

This is something to think about if you go on one of those big cruise ships. The crew is from many different countries, low paid, may or may not speak english. The ship, while it looks great to the passengers, could be a floating wreck below decks as they are registered in a flag of conveniance country(cheap with no taxs!) Its been shown time and time again that in a disaster that the crew of these ships are the first to leave the ships. The one that sank off of South Africa a couple of years ago, the captain was the first person off of the ship.(followed by the crew.) The only thing that saved the passengers was that the band that was left on board(they got left behind), organized the passengers for helocopters to take them off of the sinking ship.
