Well, it would be 22.225 mm, which would be hard to get over a 23 mm nut. The conversion, since there are exactly 25.4 mm per inch, would be:
7/8 * 25.4
i.e. just multiply your decimal inches by 25.4. It ain't exactly rocket surgery.

yeah, I know, I just wasn't sure how many were in an inch. I suck at memory.
