Does anyone else have a problem with their car being territorial?? I hadnt noticed, but my car has started marking his spot lately. Should I be worried??

 

mine makes oil spots??? does that count?

 

No leak is a good leak, I would crawl under and see where it is comming from......could be nothing or could be deadly....Good luck..

 

Thats what I meant. I should have put smilies to make more obvious. I noticed mines was leaving oil spots wednesday. Look around on the drive way, where i usually park and see 3 oil spots.

My reasoning behind marking their territory was because of air cooled VWs, theyre notorious for leaking oil. So there was a slogan that read "VWs dont leak oil, they just mark theyre spot" or something like that.

 

I wish I could park mine in my driveway, its been in the shop for over two months waiting on parts. This problem though will be soon corrected thanks to rotaryman88. I had problems with the oil lines on mine right where they go into the oil filter housing, tightened up the clamps and no more leaks......

 

Mine likes to let me know where's its been before...as long as there isn't too much oil and there is no gas, I don't really mind.
