So, I come home from work right, park my car (FD) next to my friend's car (FB) and we hear something rotary in the lot. So we go check it out. It's an FC. So the guy gets out and we start talking and ask him about it and he's like "Yea it's only a first gen but" and I was like, "Actually, it's a second gen. That there *points at the FB* is a first gen, and that *points at my car* is the third gen"

"Oh yeah? It's an 88, I was told that is the first gen." he says...

"No man, that's definately a second gen." Then we schooled him on years and all that, and let him go. Hopefully, his girl won't be giving him a piece but she probably will...

It was sad too. Had exhaust, intake, and big ricey BOMZ wing. I almost cried. Non-turbo II. Oh well...

Anyone else had similar encounters?

There is this dude with a Jaguar E-Type series II, he placed a V8 in there, thinks the engine he pulled was a V12 (it's a straight 6) and he keeps telling me it's a 61 (series II is 68-70s)

The oil filter in my Subaru has 40K on it...I'd change it, but the engine would probably blow.
