Roomate, Flips Out
#1
So earlier today I was helping one of my roomates move **** into his car so he could go home. So I walk out of the elevator into the lobby, look through the door and see his car jacked up, so I say looks like you're getting towed. He flips out, starts bitching the guy out. The guy calmly says see that sign, points to the :Fire Lane No Parking: my roomate says "yay, so I was here for like two minutes. Do you guys get some sick pleasure out of this?" Tow Truck driver "It pays my bills" So my roomate had to pay a fifty dollar fee, plus a 15 dollar ticket. I was going to say something to him and tell him, he was being a dick to go off on the guy just because he parked where he shouldn't have, but when he gets pissed off he doesn't listen to anyone and just makes everyone his enemy, so I let it go. Just thought it was funny that he flips out on the guy for doing his job. That just annoys me I guess.

personally i think they should just armor up the fire truck and just have them ram any cars in the fire lane and then they can do away with towing the vehicular mobiles
plus i think it would be funny to see the honda kids get their bumble bees on crack smashed.... tho im not sure,
their cars would likely look the same afterwards

Do you turn green when you get mad?

'Round these parts, when you park in a fire lane, if it's at a grocery store or something you won't be towed. Public property - bet your *** you will be. If there's a real emergency, the fire truck will ram your punk *** outta the way, though.

Tow trucks in State College are like vultures. They just keep driving around till they find a car to tow. Take it back to the holding yard and do it again.
They used to do that in the parking lot of the complex i lived in. Visitors had a 15 min time limit if the tow truck saw you parked in a spot and didn't have a pass they would drive around till the time was up.

Oh yeah, it's pretty bad. Last year when I had my 7 up here, she kept having electrical problems so every week, I would call walks or tennis and have them jump me. So I got to know the guys pretty well, to the point where I would call, the receptionist would recognize my voice and dispatch someone immediately. Well this came in handy, because last semester I worked as a delivery boy for Wing Zone. I had the truck then, but the first time I came out of an apartment and saw them jacking it up, I walked straight up to the guy, Rich, and he was like, well ****, I'll let everyone know not to mess with your truck. Same thing happened with one of the guys at Walks, and since then haven't had a problem with anyone trying to tow me. It also helped out when the clutch cable ripped a hole through the firewall in the truck. Walks welded a new peice in, and charged me very little for that, but had to charge me full price for the plug hole that they had to rethread.
