I'm thinking it should be a little further south then Rotorfest, then maybe more of the guys from the south would show up. If you advertise far enough in advance I think we could do well over 100 cars. **** there was over 100 at Rotorfest...right?
Possibly the place where MADS is?

id go, and id bring acouple of friends with 7's, that hotel thing sounds cool, and we could prob work something out i could just see the hotel parking lot full of 7's. btw the first week of spring is also a good idea. somebody should take charge and plan this out
IT sounds good and its going to be great. A total rotary event. HEy are we going to turn back people who try to get in with pistons engines. They have to show proof they own a 7 or sumthing lol.

I say we do it at etown. Its a very clean and large track. the ppl that run track are very cool. Also more ppl would drive to etown then other tracks i feel its more center of alot of members on this board. Also like otheres have said it can handle it all drift drag autox and road. Ill def be there if its at e town and all my buddys with rx'es. I havent been on this board for very long i mostly hang on rx7club but ill do anything to help get this together. Just let me know. e mail me at ryantmoses@yahoo.com

This event would never work @ e-town. Not in the way we would want it. To get the whole track for a day or 2 would cost a fortune, I know, I checked it out. We could share the day with other clubs/events, but then it would'nt be a true rotary event.
Just keep your eyes on the Rotorfest posts in the NERA section. This year Rotorfest 4 will be bigger than ever, possibly with new events and attractions. The NE is all about rotorfest, ask anyone here if you don't know. People drive 500-1000 miles to get here for the event!!

They were willing to rent you the track? I called and asked and the guy was not willing to rent it out for a weekend.
