Jon, i dont think many people realize just how many mazda fans are in the tri-state area alone. they may not be *rx7* people, but i couldnt even start to name all the people within a 40 miles radius of my house alone with r100's, rx2, rx3, cosmos, starlets, datsuns, corollas, MG's, VW's, hell even old colts that are powered by rotary engines. i KNOW you know what i am talking about.

BTW i vote yes for Englishtown

 

i agree 110%!!!! i wish jay and i could organize something this big but i don't think we have the time or knowledge yet. we are learning and trying so hey you never know!

 

 

I said I'd come, car or not, but you have to see others' points of view. What about the West Coast people? How will they travel across the country for one or two days of whatever? Having the event/s in the Midwest is really fair to everyone.



Plus, the west coast has 7Stock, the east coast has Rotorfest, and the MIDWEST was way overdue on a large scale event and we too finally got it in the Revolution.



I think it's fine like this, but if we want to talk technicalities and driving events in specific, then why not have a DRIVING EVENT on the EC next year, the MW the year after, and the WC in 2006. That way everybody is happy and they still have their respective large gatherings in between.

 

Lets get it going. Everybody and their mother would show up here in the east.

 

so lets get the ball rolling, as usual I donate my time and services. Whatever is needed. Vosko and I throw the big events here on the east coast, so with some more help for experienced organizers this should be one great event!

anyone else know any tracks in the NE?



Englishtown will not rent out the track on weekends like IRP does in Indy. So, basically you'd all have to take two vacation days off work to have an event there.
