Re-installing windows how do i do it?

Quick, someone tell me how to re-install windows ( proof I havent had to do yet )..... thanks!

If you have it installed already you could just do a start>run>d:setup if d is your cd rom.

But I want to start everything over from scatch, I did what you said before, and it didnt seem to really do too much. I was told to back up anything I wanted because I would lose all my files in the computer

That did nothing. I cant find my computer friends numbe, and I wanted to get all this done tonight.. I thought we had all computer genuises here??

Are you talking about deleting windows altogether? If so then you'd have to delete the folder in DOS and start the computer with the win98 boot disk.

I guess I want to start everything over, load new drivers, and windows, I re-installed Windows, so Ill see how it goes, and if it still acts up, Ill dive further in....

I think thats coming next, her sound card is echoeing, and her video card every now and then doesnt load. The place I got the computer from recomended reloading windows. I think Ill do it tomoroww, I backed up whatever she wants to keep, and have all the disks for the printer, camera, scanner, etc...
