Power Block tv host
#1
Dear Applicant:
We received your on-line application for our hosting position on the Powerblock. And having completed the first phase of our screening process and reviewing thousands of applications, we have begun to narrow down the applicants and think your technical qualifications are appropriate for the job. We would now like some additional material from you. If you are serious about being considered for this position, we will need the following from you within one week.
1) Find someone with a camcorder, and give us five minutes of you in front of the camera. Open your “home video audition” with your name, where you are from, and a little about yourself. Then do a walk around either in your shop and/or around one of your vehicles and tell us about your ride, and what you did to customize it. If you weld, weld something on-camera. If you paint, lay down some primer on something. Show us how skilled you are.
2) We are looking not only for the technical side of what you can do in the garage, but also for PERSONALITY! This is your chance to shine. Be creative, be animated.
3) When you are done, please write your name on the video tape (any format will do) and sent it to us right away.
4) Also include 1 photograph head shot of your mug from the chest up. Write your name on the back of the photograph.
5) Include your latest resume, or a cover letter reiterating your qualifications as a builder, fabricator, paint & body etc…make sure you include your contact information, name, address, phone, e-mail address on your cover letter so we can easily follow-up with you if you meet the qualifications for the next phase of our search.
