I personally think we should go back to the classic education, learning latin and all that. Talk about learning discipline weee!
Make the tests Oracle or Microsoft like with all the nifty adaptive stuff. Almost impossible to study one set of things for as it finds where you are weak and promptly asks questions. Fun huh? Education ain't gonna change https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
This whole topic is un-be-*******-lievable.
That's all I have to say. |
Even if you don't belive in it it's still there. You should stop living in denial Phinsup you'd make so much more progess in life if you just accepted things.
What a mess you are, poor poor Phin. |
LOL that made sense... you guys are just contributing to ThirdGen's growing insanity.
Sorry didn't mean to use "growing" and "ThirdGen" in the same sentance... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |
I am pretty sure he has plans to join a militia somewhere in Montana and plot the overthrow of the US Government... now that I think about it you are prolly planning on joining him aren't you RD?

Naww, I got nothing against the government. I pay my taxes, I vote, would be better to blame the voting public that put them in power then blame government itself.
Things are changing on the OS battlefield..... you wouldn't see MS diversifying so much if they didn't know it, but once you adopt a successful business model you are pretty foolish to abandon until absolutely necessary. |

[quote name='13BAce' date='Oct 3 2002, 01:19 PM']There's no chance of that ever happening. Everybody else has to go through the same crap that you do because that's just the way it works. I wish I didn't have to do ALL of the things I did but I realize that most of them were helpful. I didn't want to take philosophy and history classes, but I did. Some things may seem useless in the present. One of the important things I took from school was not just knowing something, but "learning to both think about it and understand it." That's the hard part.
Some subjects can be learned from a book. Some can't. I was able to learn alot just by reading the books, but there are some things that really require "extra" help. If you have a GOOD--that is the key--professor, then they will offer insight on the subject, which means alot. Not EVERY decent job requires that you go to college. |
There also comes a point in your life when you stop trying to figure out why you always get fucked and become smart enough to recognize when it's gonna happen before you do.
Look at all the hippies, they realized it was pointless and got jobs.... some people are just behind the curve. (LOL yea that one is gonna go over well) |
