One Large Thing I Like About The Rotary World
#1
I've noticed in a lot of different car type discussion boards, people get pissy with older cars. Example, the mkiv guys give a lot of **** to the mkIII guys for supras, the corvette people get snooty if you don't have the latest greatest. So on and so forth. The sweet thing about the rx-7 community that i've noticed is people really could care less about what kind of car you have (at least on this forum) as far as if you've got an FB, FC, FD or an rx-8. You got yourself a rotary so join on up and share your knowledge. Just wanted to point out that's why I think the rotary community is pretty badass... I don't catch any of the elitest crap. Post up if you guys feel the same or have noticed that also.
And fyi, I've got an turbo II.

Well, the MKIV owners have a small point...
Both MKIII and MKIV cars are heavy, and stooped in that respect, but the MKIV is super-reliable, powerful, and pretty to boot. Can't say the same about the MKIII. Ugly tail lights, big ugly hood, BHG problems, and they weigh even MORE than the MKIV's I believe...
LOL Whereas the FC is light/er than the FD, FB moreso...etc.
I think it's the engine problems that bring us together...the MKIV guys don't need much love in that respect...
