Thumbs down

Question:

Why is it that because some people have Been in the Rx-7 interests since the first gen or something, they think they have the right to say what ever cocky, smart *** remark answer they want. this is in retrospect to someone elses normal (to them) question?

When i say this...I am primarely talking about on the internet, where people write these things down, but would never say it to someones face.

I am 26 years old and have had 3 RX-7's now. My first ...a 87 GXL.

My second a 87 turbo II. And my present a 93 touring.

These cars have been over a period of the last 9 years, but because I have only signed up to the internet recently, people think that you are just a newbie. Some dumb *** kid that thinks his/her car has pistons, valves and lifters.

Now i have not had any problems as of yet with people saying **** to me, but i continue to read post from people with a legidamate questions that other members just say smart *** answers, or tell them to "use the search"

For one thing.....for every question someone has......reading the numerous pages of posts on the "search" you did would take for ever.

If everyone did searches, then got there answers they were looking for, the amount of posts put up on the site would drop drastically, and there would be no new flow comming in. The idea is to make conversation and answer questions.

So for all the peeps out there that are Mr know it alls (and im refering to guys on "THE OTHER SITE") keep your smart *** remarks to your self!!

No matter how long you have been in the scene...there will always be newbies, so treat there questions with respect, and they will treat you with even more in return!!!!

I've been flammed for asking a question that has came up nermous of times. So.. i kinda quit posting all together, unless it sounds "good enough" to be asked.

*I* know myself I am not knowledgable in RX-7s, but what helps me learn is to be shown, and well... if I get flammed or told to use teh "Search" .. that don't help me.

But like.. with Danny and im at his place, and he shows me things.. well, I learn. I guess. i'm more of a visual learner...

anyway yeah. I know how you feel.

did u get a use a search here at this forum? i hope not.

every question is welcome here, simple or hard. and everyone here does their best to answer them as quick as possible. we all know how fustrating it can be when u have a car that isnt really reliable and a lot of things are always going wrong (VOSKO). esp. with the older cars, cause basically u have older parts that are getting the old wear and tear.

we have a lot of stock cars here that people come over just to get answers for whats wrong with my idle and we also have performance questions. i wish u the best of luck with still having no troubles with all 3 generations of your 7's (LUCKY BASTARD).

welcome
