Is it a good idea to run an octane booster in every tank in a third generation RX7?

not as long as youre using supreme and not boosting too much. higher octane just allows for greater heat/compression before detonation

What if I'm running the **** out of my car at the dragstrip and I want a little insurance? I know a place that sells high octane race gas. I think I might try some my next time at the strip.

if you get **** like that you can crank the boost up to the engine limits as long as the fuel system can keep up. let us not speak of engine and turbo life though

the max you can run on pump gas (when it was 92)was about 17-18 psi thats at higher alt..like around 4k+..and race gas is alright but remember most race gas is leaded..not good on cats..now if you need the extra umph, and dont want to use leaded fuel use the nos oct. booster...one can of that did what 2 gal of race fuel did for me.. for best mix use it on no more than half tank

AV gas is nice stuff. I love the smell too.
