Not Having A Good Experience With A Rotary Shop
#1
hey my name is jeffrey leonard, about roughly a year ago i bought my first rx7 an 89 second gen, with out an engine for $500. i then bought a parts car for $600 an di had the engine put in and gave the guy the body for the labor but i paid for th enew clutch and other various little things i needed. a little later on i got some exhaust had him put it on and started doing proformance work so i had him remove the emissions and he accidently removed the omp and didnt tell me and the car started going into limp mode this went on for a week untill i could take it to the guys shop which is "commander service center" owned and opereated by james commander. in ft pierce fl 40 miles away from me in okeechobee so i take the car back to him and he puts the omp back on and it runs fine withen the next month the motor blows, being that this is my very first rotary car i didnt know anything about the car and its acctual opperation but him taking the oil pump off and not telling me to pre mix caused the motor blow which it still supprises me taht it lasted this long, so i kinda let it go and i found an 88 s4 t2 with grey interior and i really didnt like the car so i had the guy perform the conversion into my 89 s5 which has black interior and working electric suspension and everything works in the car well he does the conversion and i gave him th ebody for the laybor which hey buys an dsells them so he gladly does that the body was flawless on th es4 wel he does the job and it took 3 more weeks than he said it would i let it slide, because of the dealsi get from this guy, well i went to pick it up and the car was running i got in it and drove home got home shut the car off and go in the house later on that day o go get in the car and try to start it well it about a half an hour to start it it wasnt fludded and it would start fine in the other car well after about 2 weeks i learned that if you turn the key on adn off and on and off about 50 times without turning the motor over and then crank it up it right up. ok i could live with that not to bad but it was now turbo, well before the turbo motor the car would run a 15.9 in the 1/4 with the n/a engine and i took the turbo motor to th etrack and all i could get out of it was a 15.1 in the 1/4 wtf the car wasnt boosting past 5lbs and not starting correctly so i talked to one of my buddys and he suggested a new ecu so i pulled up the carpet and i found the problem the mazda expert spliced my harness WTF. so i decided to ditch all the stock efi bs and go full out i bought a t4 stainless manafold 50mm waste gate bov and some other stuff and was fixing to invest in a stand alone kit an di ran out of money so at this time i bought a cheep a** $400 honda to get around then the hurricanes came through so i sold the honda cause i was low on money so now i have a car that wont run correctly and i havent had anythign to drive so i took the car back to james because he was needing some turbo parts so i worked a deal to trade all my stock turbo engine and accessories and all the new parts i bought for a carborated bridge ported n/a motor which would be real easy for me to work on cause im a hot rodder and know how to work on the normal v8s so i dropped the car off he said it would take 2 weeks ok no biggie. well 2 weeks go buy he never touched the car so i kept checking on the car eventually he gets the motor built and in the car on the 6th week let alon the first week he pulled off all the parts he needed and fixed the car he needed the parts for. well i finally go to the shop on the day i was supposed to pick up the car on it still wasnt done the electric fan wasnt hooked up and there was no temp guage and and a couple of other little things so i said id go there the next day an dhe never shows up to finish the car so i hook the electric fan to the battery and drive the car home and finish it my self. i drove it real easy all the way home and then let it sit in the drive way idling to help break it in got up the next morning bought a guagena dput it in and then put the fan on a switch and cranked it up an dlet it run in the drive way for about an hour then that night i drove it to town but the motor wouldnot get over 5500 rpms so i put a new craborator a 650 carter competition it still done the same thing so the next day i cranked it up and let it run for about an hour or two and the next day o cranked it up reved it up a couple of times after letting it warm up and adjusted the carb reved it up a couple of more times and went to go test drive it with the new carb and the front rotor went WTF so i call the guy and he says bring it back so i did and its been another two weeks and he has just finally got the motor out so by this point i havent had anything to drive since the hurricanes last year adn im really getting pissed with this guy yet he can build and repair every one elses rx7s in a heck lot less time than mine he can and has rebuilt a motor and the guy was back on the road in the same day what does he have against me maybe its because im white an dnot a ricanm or cuban wtf, i love the rotarys but this is about to break me i dont over rev them or really run them that hard if you have seen me at the track you can agree with me on that i really dont know what ot do?

First of all..use puntctuation and slow down, so we can understand what you're typing, second....wow...I dunno, I never had a LOT of problems with my 2nd gen (87 Base), which I found again the other day.....
