Oh yea I should probably note that it no longer works... you plug it in and it hums, but no power goes through, I am sooo pissed. I have been spiked twice... oh yea I should note that it hosed my regular work box too, killed the power supply, so I was in a real chipper mood yesterday.

 

Drive was under warranty!!!!!

 

I have an old MacIntosh IIfx in my storage unit. It was pretty much state of the art in 1993. I'm sure it's still good for something besides a doorstop. Shall I send it?

Yeah, they sold for like $10k in '93 and I bought it a couple years ago at a county auction for a buck!

We could do the p3 550 with the motherboard if you want. Is it something you can part with?

 

its only a p3-550 proc . no mobo

 

ahh no mb ok, well I am going to transfer the DAT backup to stable-os today, see if it works, then we can hopefully find the parts to get nopistons.net backup next week or something.
