Just my opinion, but I just don't get how hard it would be to make a better looking Rx-7, or at least one that looks as good as the 3rd gen. As for power..........280HP, I think Mazda should really step up to the plate and build a low 4 to sub 4 second 0-60 machine to hang in there with the competition.

what competition exactly are you referring to ?
i agree though that one thing mazda should most definitely NOT do is deviate too far from the styling of the FD.. like i've seen in every god damn 4th gen 'concept' sketch to date. the popularity of the sports car is back, there are too many bitch cars out there now and we need some real class. the only class i'm seeing in evo or road and track starts at around $160,000. I honestly think it would cost less to build a body and chassis more similar in styling to the FD, than that big bulky **** you see on all the concepts... just my .02
