well do u know for sure and have a source? not bein a dick jus tryin 2 get my facts straight, everything im findin now has said that u dont need it until 2008. im jus tryin 2 find out so i can know wether im leavvin in a few or not

jan 23rd, 2007 by air, jan 1 2008 by land or sea. At this point in time they are having a hard time getting canada to agree to force us visitors to have a passport, so i dunno if it will actually happen by the end of 2007 or not, we shall see.

You are a us citizen, returning to the us without proper id, they are going to detain you and make it a pain in your ***, but I highly doubt they will not allow entrance. I would just make sure you have as many forms as id as possible.

One thing i never got about the US and Canada Border. Whats to say that you cant cross by some forest with no roads into canada. THey only check for ID and whatnot by the major roads right?
So whats to say that you wont find a deserted area of forrest land and walk to either country and then find your way to a major road
