I am looking at an add

"1993 MAZDA RX7 R1 COUPE

Auto, Leather, alloys, sunroof, 60kmi., hard find, great shape!!!

$10,988" (keep in mind that the ebay car is an auto too)

If you think that by the time you have done body work, motor work, and painting, that your car will cost less that this, you are insane. Also, this car, you pay for, finance it all, and drive that damn thing home, it's not a year project.

That car is the biggest POS 3rd gen I have seen. I have seen better that were totaled and cost about $1500. for parts

Hell, sounds like you've already made up your mind your buying the thing and are just looking for some reassurance. Well I hope you have plenty of money and plenty of time, cause that car will take all of it from you. No hard feelings tho, it's not my money. Thank god.

Didn't mean to be too rude, (it was early and i was cranky) but seriously man, listen to some of us. It's not like we're don'g want you to get a great deal on a car, we are giveing you our opinions based on our experiences. Take heed.

Thanks guys I called A Spoke to the guy there this morning and he seemed really unsure about the overall condition of the car. He keep on changing the miles on the "new" turbos and the "new" engine. he must've slipped like 3- 4 times. I think I should wait then. Cause i want to be able to drive my FD home. Unless i get one with just a blown engine.

Thanks Guys,

Jay

Do NOT do business with those guys they are LIARS. It sounds like you saw that for yourself today. I am glad your walking away from it. No regrets trust me its the best decision to make. Isn't it funny, not one bid on the car either.

As far as driving that car home I am willing to bet the Sunroof is stuck open. That will suck in the rain. Plus it looks like there needs to be a ton of work done to get the sunroof closed. I would say you would need an entire new roof welded on.

Good move Jay you made Jims very happy.
