Thumbs down

I need someone in the Rancho Cordova /Sacramento area to look at a car for me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ShippingPayment . I just want to know if the car is in working order. The cosmetic part does not bother me, Just need it to run good. Really Urgent.

Thanks,

Jay

Those are some weird dents. Did looks like King Kong grabbed the car and shook it around.

the roof worries me. Its a double lined roof, meaning the outer panel with the humps in it is seperate from the rest.

Take this for what it is worth.

We (my father and I) did business w/ these guys about 8 months ago. We bought a 13B-REW from them for my dads FD. We bought my dads car w/ a blown angine and found one out of a 94 there.

They shipped it to us and it took almost a month to get here. When pressed for a tracking # they would never produce one but promised it was en-route.

When we called them and tried to cancel the order they gave us a really hard time and told us the engine was 2 days away. We waited 4 days and it arrived. It was siezed!!!! It was rusted solid and when we borescoped to housings they were not in very good shape. We could not turn the engine over at all and were afraid to force it in fear of damaging it further.

Things got really ugly from here on. They refused to refund us. Telling us they shipped a "good working motor". They were baffled when we told them there was signifigant rust in the housings and it was siezed. They offered to send another engine and we refused. They would not refund our money. We had to go to war with them and finally just had our credit company reverse the charge. They then buckled and backed off.

I bought a FD motor mount from them for $50 and it was broken. I have not seen a decent thing come out of there.

I would run from this as fast as you can. I can almost gurantee the car is a total shitbox.

I would take his advice, maybe there is a reason why there was 2 "deadbeat" bidders before.

Yeah that is a total POS. A few bad dents would be fine, but that thing has had some serious damage, and the roof would worry me the most.
