A few months ago I consulted with another product design firm in designing a new functional aesthetic to a humidifier. After some time in manufacturing it got released. I was happy to visit Walgreens the other day and see it on the shelves.
Definately not the prettiest...we had to work around certain internal mechanics we couldn't change. But, definately satisfying to see my first product produced.
Still not sure how well it works...I've yet to try it out, haha

For anyone still deciding their career path...if you like to sketch, design, make models, etc...definately check out Industrial Design:
