The heat pump switch burnt out or something, the pump runs but no heat! It's supposed to freeze later this week so I have to fix it soon. Can I replace the switch myself? has anyone had the same problem?

um its a pretty simple device, can you bypass the switch and see if the heater works?

Not exactly, i'm like a deer in the headlights when I take the side cover off the tub. The wiring for the switch runs down under the tub, I guess i haven't torn into it all the way yet.

It just wraps around under the tub to where the pump is, i'm going to pull it apart further after dinner, or maybe first thing in the morning, these drinks are catching up with me quickly.

It's cooked, i'm really not sure what happened. Earlier this morning I called to order the parts and the service manager said it was still under warranty, evidently I bought the extended warranty (although I don't remember doing so) so the service call, repairs and parts are a freebie!
