My God Dealerships Do Suck!

Call the better business bureau of your state... They should be able to help, but be prepared to have a written statement and copies of anything pertaining to the incident.
If that doesn't work call the attorney general's office.. Same thing.. have all the info, written letter and anything pertaining to it.
Those two options alone should put the situation strongly in your favor.

it just occured to me, but why the hell did you bring the thing
in for a 22,000 mile service anyhow???
Your quite mechanically capable of doing the bullshit they do
for those services, those services are junk and only for girls
in my opinion.

i was thinking to preserve his warranty ?
when we picked up the mazda 6 the dealer was like "if we dont change
your oil you need to keep all your reciepts for your oil changes incase
something happens to the engine", I said quite simply and calmly-
"bullshit there is no such law", that was the end of that

there's a law that prevents companies such as ford from owning a dealership, which would basically be a wholesale dealer (skipping all the dealer crap and much cheaper prices).
i just learned about it but forget the full details, but basically thats why you need to buy a franchise license from ford or whomever, so you sell for them instead of them selling directly.

i dunno if that would work tho, did you read the warranty? the warranty is a contract so in it if they say you have to provide proof of oil changes or use the dealer for servicing, then thats what you have to do otherwise it voids the contract.
sure you could fight it but youd have to pay a lawyer blah blah blah, and youd probably get nothing out of it.

its not in the warranty contract, and its so ******* easy to come up with
some bullshit reciepts anyhow so how useless was the dealer to even say it.
its against the law for them to say you HAVE to use thier parts or
service.
