I bought some new furnature for our new office to replace the stuff that was destroyed in the hurricanes.

The owner of the furnature store was the 1st owner of my TII. (yes, I am the second owner of the car) He bought it new in 1987 cash. He orderd it to his specsand it was garage kept its entire life. It only had 50K miles on it when I bought it and it looked showroom new. He sold it because he bought a C-5 with 3 K miles on it. (It has 7K miles on it now) The vette was sent down the production line at Bowling Green and everyone that worked on it signed the frame with a Sharpie. Not a big deal to me but I would imagine a Vette fanatic would love it. Imagine your 90 RX-7 having had the same done in Japan.

When I bought it from him I told him that the Rotary has tremendous potential. The last time he saw it was 2 years ago just before I did the 13B-REW swap. I let him take it for a spin, at the time it had about 225 the the rear wheels and he was pretty impressed.

He asked me about the car last week and I told him its completely different now. It has almost 400 to the wheels. He almost fell over. I told him I would stop by his store after the 1st of the year and we would take it for a spin.

I'll report back his reaction to it.

BTW- He is a Ferrari fanatic and is selling his C-5 to buy another one. He used to import them back in the 80's and the TII was his "in between Ferrari's" car. A testimony to the TII ha said it was as much fun as the Ferrari's and it was bone stock.

Just thought I would share. I am excited to see his reaction to the car when his gets a ride in it. I am sort of worried about letting him drive it. I mean he is an awesome driver. He is ex-SCCA he used to Autrocross a Classic Mini and Road race too. He also used to road race one of his Ferrari's. So I guess I shouldn't worry too much. A rare few have driven my car I am kind of **** about letting people drive it.

I've personally seen Kris drive it, and that's it.

Wow, not much effort to make that statement sounds gay, let's see where to start... the "take him to an open parking lot" or the "way to much car".
