Mischief 3000

I saw this in Circuit City on the shelf in the DVD section. So I bought it.
I do not know if this DVD has been discussed before but this is some pretty awesome stuff.
It is a documantary done by a couple of rich Long Island boys that entered last years Gumball Rally. It was a race from NYC to LA over a 5 day period. It is actually billed as a cruise but unoficially there is a prize for getting there the fastest.
One dude is in a M-5 the other in a Ferrari. They show the M-5 hitting 172 and the Ferrari hitting 207 on the interstate. The police are overwhelmed they cannot pull them all over. There were over 150 cars including a F-50, Bently, Lambo, Many Ferrari's, Porsches, Corvettes, BMW's a couple of Mini Coopers one driven by 2 Playboy Playmates. It is a really cool DVD. There is some really funny additional footage of a dude at a car show with a 2000 Mustang V-6 that had GT-R emblems claimed he had a piston powered turbo charged rotory engine.
Mischief 3000 - check it out.
I am thinking I want to enter next years Gumball. I think the entrance fee is really steep though. Like over 2K.

Yeah I downloaded some of that off kazaa a while back. I'm a little confused as to what happens to the guys, cause the cops are chasing them, some get pulled, others must get caught eventually...so what kind of punishment is there at the end? It is pretty cool, but at the same time a little idiotic.

The guy in the Red F50 got arrested after getting clocked at 187.. He went to jail, but I guess he posted bail.. cuz he finished too..
A couple other did some jail time.. like overnighters though.. The entrance fee is actually over $10k.
Basically you race at your own risk.. They just had another one this year from SF California to Miami Florida..

They would go as teams. So if one member got pulled over and arrested then it was cool cause the others would go bail them out. I want to say the cost to even enter was around 5000Pounds. Their is a guy over here who said he entered is black FD. IF you got caught speeding then you obviously got a ticket. But these guys are so rich that they don't even care about paying them. Besides most of them were from other countries anyway so what the hell do they care.

The one Ferrari and the M-5 were friends. The M-5 only got one ticket and that was just outside L.A. The Ferrari got a lot of tickets.
We go out from time to time on the Interstate in Florida and do some mid triple digit runs at about 11:00 at night but nothing like that.
I am planning a little cruise with a few of my friends to North Carolina next spring to tear up the Blue Ridge Highway. We are going to get there on a Friday evening then tear it up all day Saturday and drive home on Sunday. It should be a blast. There will be about 4 or 5 of us.
I love that Cananball idea its just too pricey for me plus I cannot afford to get 10 tickets.
Most of the people that got arrested posted bail and continued to race.

I forget which car it was now but one dude in either a Lambo or Ferrari was carrying a wad of singles something like 500 or 700 of them. When a cop was turning around he would throw them out his car window in hopes of getting all the surrounding cars to stop and pick up the money. Thus causing a traffic jam the cop would not be able to get through.
You have to see this DVD there are lots of funny stories on it. Dead bird in the grill of the Bentley is another one.
