my dad is in the process of purchasing a 22' Sportcraft with a 200hp Mercury. This is a step up from the 17' Key West flats boat. I'm so excited, I finally get to go grouper fishing, and spearfishing again. That's so much fun, and good eats! He should have it by this weekend, when scalloping season opens. mmmm...seafood :drool:

My friend who buils reproduction Garwoods, uses a fiberglass hull and the planks it in mahgony for the look without as much hassle. He also offers rotary power as an option
