Life Really Is Rough

Ya the v8 does sound pretty ******* nasty with those small short headers hehe. It does 85 now, we had it doing 110 with the big block but it was too much weight. Were going to build a racing 20B with a nitrous system hehe.

I have a boat, in a million pieces, ok, not a million, but you
get the idea.
19' Century with a Chrysler 413, inboard, 390hp,490 ftlbs of tq.
I had the heads ported and polished and flowed so I think it should
have a bit more power now. The engine is 'new', boat originally came
with the 413 or a 426 wedge, I got a 413 out of the same year Chrysler
car that had not been on the road in over 15 years. Didnt even need
to be bored over to rebuild it.
Now if I could find 2 solid weeks to paint the boat and put it all back
together, had all the original hardware chromed, engine is sitting on a
engine stand waiting to go in. Here is a pic, im not sure
what color im going to paint it yet though, either black or yellow, this is a ski boat, notice the "ski view" mirror...Sigh...........

You need a set of Cross-Ram Intake MAnifolds for that
You would think I would get off my *** and work on my own boat,
but at the end of the day the last thing I want sometimes is to look
at another boat. I think I need to get it done now though, I was thinking
about it today and now this thread came up, its fate I tell you!
Besides it a good investment, not like Im going to lose money doing
the boat, I can triple my money if I go to sell it.

Damn nice! Is that a mahogany hull?
then I wouldnt want anyone stepping on them and I would end
up not using the boat and being a nervous wreck. I was going
to do the clear epoxy West System with Imron clear.
Now Im going to fiberglass the decks and paint them, I can always
go mahagony at a later time. I bought nice 1" mahogony planks
and plywood, cost me over $650 in wood, but oh well, it will
look nice fiberglassed and painted.
