I'll go to the Honda dealership and measure later. The picture was just an example of the idea, so don't give me **** about the details. I will give you exact measurements later on this weekend.

I like the penny anecdote. So, if someone gets murdered, they die, so murder and death are synonymous? You'd make an excellent detective. "This man was murdered." "He had a heart attack, sir." He's dead, isn't he?"

So now we realize that you need to take some math classes as well as some logic classes.

you know there is a branch of physics that says your hand on the shafter might have caused it to be in the dash

ohh someone's run out of material it's time for personal attacks, wooooooooo.

i'll have you know i got a rather nice score on my SATs without the use a calculator. I was at the top of my class in the school's top math class in senior year, i was doubled up in math for each year except freshman and took Honors AP Calc part of my junior year, a class normally reserved only for seniors very advanced in math.

As for logical thinking, im a programmer, all we deal with is logic, fuzzy or otherwise.

your logic is funny too "they have it in rally cars, that means its better"

woooo. good one ace.

hey you think next time you cna make fun of my mom or something? i mean i dont want you to run completely out of material.

Ran out of material? I said I'd get measurements on the shifter, which I can't do here at my desk, and I broke down your argument about synonyms. I'd say there's some material that you're choosing to ignore.

Wow...I didn't have a calculator on my SATs either...so how did you do?

Just because you're a programmer doesn't mean you're good with propositional logic. You don't seem to be able to make connections between definitions of words properly. I'll break down your example for you.

S = skimming

F = falling off

If something skims off of something, it would eventually fall off.

S --> F

However, as you'll learn the first day of propositional logic class, that does not mean that

F --> S is true, therefore the words cannot be synonyms without further proof. You're trying to tell me that every time something falls off of something else it skims off?

you say my hand slips off the shifter becuase its in the dash. so therfore the shifter position caused your hand to slip but perhaps this is not so mon ami? perhaps it is the ****? or your hand is slippery?

or are you really saing you cant drive a different car than the one you own? some older cars dont have the pedals in the same order as you're used to, could you not drive these either?

Whoa, I missed this gem the first time around:

"your logic is funny too 'they have it in rally cars, that means its better'"

If you haven't noticed, racing technology tends to be a step above commuter car technology, so I'd say that's a pretty safe statement to make. Unless you'd rather have a showroom WRX than one with twice the power, bigger brakes, and better suspension and tires....then it's false.

WOW.. You guys have so much good material about Honduh.. Anyway I appreciate the cars, Si, Element, and Oddysey But would not buy them.. The shifter thing is there because they thought it would look cool, and remind people who know, about the old Honda Z500, which has a dash shifter.. Kinda like going back to their roots, like the nostalgia bit the American car makers are doin.

I drove one, and it is different, but not bad.. Anyways, Who said something about 17 second cars being slow.. You hurt my feelings.. I ran and 18.5 at Palmdale Wednesday night, which when converted to a sea level time is 17.9.. anyway.. Thank to teknics, and unique for the entertaining reading material.. and Mike too..
