Drove a total of 26 hours this past week with the old folks. I almost lost my ******* mind with these old bastards. Something about riding in a car makes them turn into George Castanza's parents. After the first 10 hours of them yelling and screaming at each other and my driving, I pulled over to a gas station and yelled at the old man pretty bad. I felt bad, but jesus christ shut the **** up already.

Rant over.

I hear ya I went to Fl with my parents in Feb and I got sick of them real quick. My mother was like a total ******* tourists and my dad pissed me off cause I would tell him something and he would say I never said anything.

As soon as I got home i went to the Bar and drank the memories away.

I guess I'm pretty lucky. Me and my dad are friends as much as we are father/son. we always golf together (2 times a week) and ride our motorcycles and stuff. We also have to work together for about 10 hours a day in the same shop, so its good that we get along. we can joke and laugh about stuff that only we would get.

My mom and me get along 99% of the time, but every once in a while she will start to try to get a little over controlling, but its cool, I understand. She's freaked that I'm about to be moving 5 hours away, and that is her way of cooling down a lil, so I just deal with it. and every once in a while she'll just be in a bad mood, or go into what we call "cleaning mode" where you better stay the **** out of her way or get run over. Me and my dad just laugh at her when she's not looking and wait for her to get over it.

Its all good in our house though.

Just be glad they're still married. I grew to very much dislike both my parents for a while, after hearing them bicker about the other one (after the divorce). And the court hearings, bleck.

Ha, practically the same thing here (Minus the golf and motorcycles thing). I get along with both parents 99% of the time, and we definitely all avoid my mom when she's in a "Cleaning mode" or time of the month, whatever you want to label it as. Other than that I have it really good...

Sure makes up for their Childhood and our drama during their divorce in years past...

My dad was a real nightmare to grow up with. After I moved out, started doing the Army thing, and making my own way he turned into more of a buddy than an Adolph von Father. My mom is cool as hell, I love her to death.
