Johnny Bootlegger?
#1
So, the other day I was in this convenience store, see? And I was browsing whilst a friend selected a large package of his favorite brew. What should my eager eyes settle upon but this intriguing bottle of "Johnny Bootlegger" Sour Apple beverage? Naturally, I had to try it. Fairly sour. A little artificial tasting. A curiosity, perhaps, but not desirable as an intoxicant, IMO.
So I'm wondering, have any of you connoisseurs of fine drinkables ever drank this stuff?
I noticed that it was made in Canada, of all places. Can any of you Canadiennes tell me if this is a popular drink up there?

And can it measure up to this classic libation?

Kinda like those apple bacardi things the girlfried throws back I'm guessing, not the greatest thing. I drank half of one one day after work, pure swill(insert vomit emoticon here)
We must have over 100 microbrews in this state, I'm still liking Spaten if im drinking beer however, great German lager.
