Installed Polk Audio speakers in the cockpit!

They are sweet, Polk Audio Atrium 45's, man do they sound nice. Here's the downside, they make my salon speakers, which i used to be happy with sound like *** lol.
I also installed a fusion audio ipod deck with a wired remote in the cockpit, this thing is sweet. You set it up with separate zones, so the remote controls the sound in that zone.

I've always liked Polk's speakers. I'd probably buy a Klipsch system first, though, just 'cause I've always liked them even better. Unfortunately, speakers last a really long time, and since I just put new woofers in my early '80's vintage Boston Acoustics, I won't be spending any money on speakers anytime soon!
On a side note, my neighbor scored a working set of vintage Infinity 2000-II's, circa 1975. They've got like 12" woofers, a midrange, tweeter, and some crazy cone-like thing called a "Walsh tweeter". They'd probably be too big for a boat, though.

I have Polk and Infinity in the 7, The polk's have been beating my brains out in the woofer department for years, I can't get away from infinity though, soo nice and crisp for mids and highs. If its Shoes that are a womans worst vice then Stereo **** for the home and auto are mine : )
