I'm Asking For Help
#1
Any help that could be given would be gladly acceted and greatly appreciated..
As some of you know, my birthday was on Saturday. I decided to throw a party and have a few friends over. As I woke up Sunday, happy and hungover, I decided to go to the bank and deposit the rent my roommate gave me. I got in my truck, and headed out of the neighborhood. I looked in the center console for the cash. It wasn't there. I remembered that I had taken it out of the console and set it on my dresser for safe keeping. I returned home and there was no cash. There was nothing. My girlfriend and I tore the house apart trying to find it and came to the obvious conclusion: it had been stolen. We're talking about $700. $700 that helps make my mortgage payment.
Now today is Monday. Last night I had returned to my house in such haste that I left the truck parked facing the wrong direction on the street. I forgot about it all night. As I am getting in the car, I notice that the City of Northglenn, CO, has left me a PARKING TICKET for parking on the wrong side of the road! Great, I think. What a nice birthday present. **** Northglenn. Cynthia and I were on our way downtown, she was to drop me off at work and take the truck to her doctor's appointment. The day passes, and I call her just after 3:30 to ask her to come get me from work. She heads out.
On I-25 Southbound, she is driving and comes into traffic. She stops, and then an overwhelming crunch eminates from the rear of the vehicle. She had been hit. She proceeds to pull from the middle lane of traffic, but low and behold, the car that hit her does not! Shaken, she calls me from the shoulder while she's waiting for the police to arrive. The impact was so sudden and frightening that she doesn't recall the make, model, or even color of the vehicle that hit her. The damage (thankfully) only extends to the rear bumper, rear bumper cover, and tailgate.
So here is my plea: I don't usually ask for handouts, but I'm a little desperate. If there's any way you can help, call around to junkyards, ask a friend, whatever, I need to find a new bumper, bumper cover and tailgate for my truck. My deductible is $1000, and I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to eat Ramen noodles the rest of the week, so please anything that you can do, I'd appreciate.

Dude, I got cashed out on my 401K (supposedly) from my last job, should be here any day. I was planning on either throwing it towards the medical bills, but I can hold off on that and give ya some, that is if it arrives.
I should call them, just to give them ****.
What year truck is it?

96 has a different bumper, but thanks!
Paypal is sinful7@nopistons.com.. Thanks again!
Edit: Parts are more necessary than cash at this point.. I just need to make my daily driver functional again.
