You see, after I had the accident in my 7 (i had an accident in my 7) my insurance company went into my account for a scheduled monthly payment...and i was missing 2 dollars. So, they wanted me to pay back the entire amount in cash PLUS 50 dollars...seams resonable. A week later they sent me a letter cacelling my insurance policy. SOOO, to get another policy, I have to have a car that can be certified. Problem is, my RX-7 has all this nice front end damage...and theres no way it could be fixed for less than 1500 bucks. SOOOO I had this deal that I could buy a Chevrolet Chevette for like 300 bucks, and a safety would go for about 500 i guess. So 800 bucks seamed reasonable, I figured I needed a winter car anyway while i fixed the 7. Turned out after the Chevette was cleared to get safetied...I drove it down the road...the car wouldnt keep up with traffic and started to knock (clinRX-7 was there at the time) so me and him went over the car...**** didnt seam right...crank case pressure wasnt being vented? So we turned around and on the climb up a hill...the engine let go on me...a piston tore itself from the engine block. So i parked it on the side of the road. No time to call a two truck (mistake) we left, it was either call a tow truck or lose my job...we left. Got home, called the guy i bought it from, told him where it was, he was gonna bring it to the shop monday morning. Monday morning comes, the car wasnt there, it was towed. Guy wants money for towing and impound fees yatta yatta yatta. Worked out deal, payed him some money...got in argument with parents DONT PAY THAT GUY ANYMORE MONEY fine by me. Bought Diesel Jetta...3 weeks later here we are...im just about to get it back. MIGHT have it on the road by Saturday.

Yeah that seams about right...

In canada every time you buy a car if its used, it has to have a safety check done by a licenced mechanic!
