New toy for Jims. I had so much fun Autocrossing my Mini I decided to buy some Rims and Kumho Ecsta V-700's for it. I was faster than Mustangs with racing tires last time out and I was running the crappy/heavy run flats that come with the car.

There is a high speed even in Gainsville this weekend. I might get up at 5:00 Sat morning and drive up for the Sat. event.

P.S. I still love Autocrossing the RX-7. Its fun sometimes to just go have some fun in a different car.

The Ecsta V-700 came in the right size for my car and the Victoracer (which I prefer, I think) didn't.

I have never raced on the Ecsta V-700. I'll let you know how they work.

I have had people tell me thay hate than and other tell me they love them.

Yes I got them from Tire Rack. Go look I am almost positive they come for an FC too. They are resonable and light. $130-$150 a rim and weigh 15 lbs for a 16x7.5
