I Love Rednecks.

Being from Alabama, we have tons and tons of rednecks EVERYWHERE. Lifted trucks, old rusting Camaros, Mustangs that have a misfire problem in every cylinder. You know what though? Every single one of them (even the truck owners and people who've never driven anything from outside of America) think that nothing can or will ever beat good 'ole American Muscle. I respect those cars and know tons of other Rotary heads who do as well. Why aren't we shown the same respect more often? Just because I don't want to own something that's from America doesn't mean I hate them. I think that the Shelby Cobra 427 is one of the best designed cars out there. Of course all of the local mullet heads have to call you "ricer" even if your car is bone stock, just because it's from Japan. I know several people who would pass as rednecks who do respect the rotary. One is a friend of my family's named Ken. This man owned Corvettes and still says he loves the RX-7 (1st Gen!) that he used to have over the rest. Case in point, there needs to be more Kens out there, people who respect what we like because it's what we like. If you know other rednecks either like Ken or more like the muscle headed ********, let us hear about them.

i want a 3 or 4 rotor in a c5. after you kill them in the race pop the hood and show em what owns. im sure a 13b would be good in one, but i just wanna see a 4 rotor in a vette. i think it would fit in the bay perfectly.

explain (or try your best) to these necks of red that the wankel engine is german. Bring out the shame in the many people who drive newer mustangs/camaros/TAs that have altezzas and APC stickers, and say how bad it looks that these so called comrades of the cubes are so blatantly trying to fit in in an increasingly import filled scene. This should sufficiently distract them enough so that you may chop off their mullets and pour sugar in their gas tanks.
Problem solved.

Here's you a good example of the rednecks around my area. I was talking with my import head friends about my '8 and this young man comes back there (redneck, but with no mullet, sorry) and says: "Your car ain't fast, your car's slow, stop talking about your car when it's so slow." (Now I know I'm not driving a 'Vette killer or anything, but this guy only has a big truck.) So I look him in the face and say "Wanna race then?" I suppose he wasn't expecting this because he says "What? In my truck? I can't beat you in my truck." I narrow my eyes and say "Nah, your mom's Beemer'll be fine." This pissed him off really good, he then says "Ok! I'll race you in my truck but you better not stop!" (I guess he's saying he has **** for brakes [possibly literally] and that I don't need to use mine because he'll plow through my car. Oh noes!) I just let it drop at that. Well, later on at lunch he begins talking **** to our collective friends and they all say things like: "His car is fast," and the variations of that. Then, get this, he says "No, I've driven 'so and so's' car and it's slow as hell." So and so's car was automatic. This was pointed out to him and they all let him know that MT>AT (if you don't think so, don't argue with me, I don't care, you won't change my opinion) and this shut him up from then on. Yay for rednecks and their "knowledge" of cars!

Yep, sad to say, most of these V-8 automatic driving Mustang and Camaro fanatics have never driven anything else that could go as fast. Their strong opinions are based in ignorance, and they don't want to know any different.
