I Gave A Bum Money!
#1
I was hanging out at the local weekend car parking lot and a bum comes up.
"Do you guys wanna help out a vietnam vet? I aint gonna buy no alcohol or drugs I was just wonderin if y'all could spare any money, i'd be greatly appreciative"
So two of my friends give him 1 dollar and i give him a 5. At least he was polite and i see it as this. 5 years from now i'll be down on my luck and am gonna need alcohol and someone will hook me up with some dough for booze.

If he didn't tell you war stories and keep freaking out about somebody named Charlie, preferably hiding in the trees, then he wasn't a real vietnam vet.
Because all real 'nam vets do that.
Because all real 'nam vets do that.
At least he wasnt all shakey like a crack addict, he looked more like a poor black dude than anything else.

In a skyway there was a bum playing his violin as our cround was getting slose to walking by him my bud told me to toss in my free mt dew cap so I did. As soon as I tossed it in and was walking away the music stoped, next thing I see is the mt dew cap skiping across the carpet in front of me and the music started again. Ungreateful bastard... He could have mixed that free Dew with some alcohol.

I'm very picky about the homeless individuals that I give money to.
One time,...this homeless guy was sleeping in the parking lot near my workplace. And he had a Sony tape recorder, maybe he got it prior to becoming homeless. Anyways, I frequently heard him talk and seriously, he was very intellectual. Suffice it to say, he fell on hard times. I gave him money once. Other times, when my company had a party, I brought a plate of food over to him. I just placed the covered plate of food on his makeshift bed. And during Thanksgiving,...I gave him a $20. I gave it to him because he truly was someone who fell on hard times. He didn't use drugs as he was coherent all the time and never disturbed anyone. He also had a relatively positive outlook on life. He was the only homeless guy that I was ever that generous to.
Most of the homeless people that I come across,...I may buy them food. I rarely give them money as I fear they will use it on worthless things like alcohol or drugs.
