I used to have a 64 Impala, and it had a 283 with a 2spd powerglide. I think the SS came with a 3spd. I could see how that would work with the high revin rotaries. 2 speeds, fast, and faster!

Im just wondering how the hell some of them got a 26B! some sort of wierd melding of two 13B's? I wasnt aware that more than like, 4 of those engines existed.

Really the eshaft would be the major hold up.

There are a couple people producing them now, one in Australlia and another in Europe somewhere. Can you say 3 Peice? Can you say 5th mortgage?

thats right. I forgot about the 3 speed p/g. you don't see many of them



We were running a superglide in my buddies race nova. they are good tranny's but mounting it up to a rotary had to have been a pain....
