How To Delete The Undeleteble?
#42
didnt they remove deltree in newer windows?
my guess is the apostrophe is screwing with the command interpreter. why don't you try:
rd d:\sonicstage\packages\Ad*
it might have to be
rd d:\sonicstage\packages\Ad*.
I don't remember the rules for dos/win command interpreter, it's been a long time, fortunately.

if windows or dos can't read it because it is corrupted, run scandisk, then run chkdsk from the command prompt. DOS can't find the directory, because it has a space in its name, so you'll have to find the regular 8.8 name... ie ... "adoscd~1"
maybe. If scandisk or chkdsk can repair the corruption, you can get rid of it with explorer.
