Hit & Run
#1
Not a great day. Someone hit my Accord today. i know its a honda, but its only 3 months old.. had an 04, but traded to get an 05 manual.... the person who hit it ran of course while I was at work today. Crushed the rear left tail light, and kinda bent in the back fender and bumper where the tail light meets it.. I think once I get the old tail out and a new one in, the metal will be easy to tap back, or may even pop back... only prob is that it took a few chips of paint.. this car's only 3 months old.. kinda ticks me off
anyone know where you can get 05 factory accord tail lights cheap?

bahh. im just frustrated
getting an estimate tommorrow.
tail assembly is $100 from honda.. a few chips that need to be touched up, and the rear driver fender just tapped out.. no dents... just bent a little from the taillight.
thinking about doing it myself but the car is only 3-4 months old and i'd rather have it look right. what sucks is that im going to out of pocket this because if i claim it, it will prolly jack my insurance up more a year than the whole repair
