Have A Dilemma Between The Gto And The Rx-7
#1
Well, those of you who know my recent story with my POS daily driver should kind of see where this is going.
I need a new daily ASAP, but just dont have the money for one so one of the others has to go.
The easy choice would be the GTO, I wouldnt be doing anything with it for probably 10 years at least, and it will be scrap by then.
But, my dad bought the car only three months used as the first owner got too many speeding tickets and has had it up until I turned 16, whence I got it and drove it around for 3-4 years, then I got the TII.
He always planned on restoring it, but it just doesnt look like hes ever going to be able to do it.
Opinions? thoughts? God I would hate to sell the RX-7

Thats another thing. I could probably barely get what I paid just for the car back out of this RX-7. I never planned on selling it.
Plus I've had it since it had fairly low miles on it. Couldnt even find many low mileage TIIs then, much less now.
I'm still working on getting pics of the GTO BTW

how much do u want for it....?
The only thing I want is for it to go to somebody with the time and means to give it a full professional restoration.
(oh, and book on this car fully restored is 18k FYI )

Well, if you do sell the GTO to Ray, I can assure you it will be kept in pristine condition every second of every day. He had a 67 Firebird (it was more his ex wife's) that I never saw a speck of dirt on...ever! He also had a Chevy stepside with chrome bars and whatnot that was always spotless...even when he had the truck he still drove his rusty Celebrity because he wasn't worried about things happening to it.
